Rose-ringed Parakeet is observed flying to a natural tree cavity and landing near the entrance. The parakeet repeatedly peers inside the hollow before withdrawing its head and looking around. This inspection behavior is performed several times as the bird remains attentive to activity within the cavity. Natural chirping can be heard in the background throughout the observation. Rose-ringed Parakeets commonly use tree hollows for nesting and roosting. The video documents nest-site inspection and cavity-use behavior in one of India's most widespread parakeet species.
