A green parakeet, likely a Rose-ringed Parakeet (Psittacula krameri), uses a natural cavity in a mature tree as a nesting site. Several young chicks are visible inside the dark hollow, showing developing green feathers, large dark eyes and reddish-orange bills. The chicks remain close together near the entrance. An adult parakeet approaches and enters the cavity, with its body and tail briefly extending outside. It later emerges, gripping the edge of the opening before moving away. Surrounded by green foliage and rough tree bark, the footage captures parakeet nesting activity, adult movement and developing chicks inside a natural tree cavity.
