A parent Rose-ringed Parakeet (Psittacula krameri) is feeding its chicks in a natural tree cavity nest. Perched vertically on the weathered tree trunk, the adult bird displays its bright green plumage, curved red bill, pale eye ring, and long tapering tail while delivering food directly to the waiting chicks. Several young parakeets peek out from the dark hollow, stretching toward the entrance to receive food from the parent. The sequence highlights the nesting and parental care behaviour of the Rose-ringed Parakeet in its natural woodland habitat.
