Young Common Myna chicks (Acridotheres tristis) resting closely together inside a carefully constructed nest made of dry twigs and plant material. Their soft juvenile feathers are still developing, while their bright yellow eye-rings and partially grown plumage indicate they are in the nestling stage. The chicks remain alert, occasionally shifting position and looking around as they wait for their parents to return with food. Surrounded by green foliage and concealed among branches, the nest provides protection while the young birds continue to grow before fledging.
