A Coppersmith Barbet at a tree cavity. One barbet can be seen peering out from the hollow, carefully watching its surroundings for an extended period before retreating back inside. The bird remains alert, occasionally moving its head as it scans the area around the nest site. A little later, another Coppersmith Barbet arrives near the same cavity and briefly perches nearby. After a short visit, the second bird flies away, leaving the nesting bird to continue its watch from the safety of the tree hollow.
