An adult Coppersmith Barbet (Psilopogon haemacephalus) attends a chick inside a cavity nest carved into a tree branch. The adult brings food in its beak and feeds the young bird inside the cavity. On another visit, it carries a clump of waste debris in its beak and removes it from the nest. The adult repeatedly enters the cavity, alternating between feeding the chick and clearing material from the nesting site. The footage shows feeding and nest-cleaning behavior associated with raising young.
