An adult Coppersmith Barbet (Psilopogon haemacephalus) feeds its chick at the entrance of a tree cavity nest. The adult clings to the outer edge of the nesting hole, showing a lime-green body, red forehead patch, and yellow markings around the eyes and throat. The chick remains inside the hollow tree trunk, its beak open to receive food from its parent. Its red feet grip the lower edge of the cavity entrance during feeding.
