Coppersmith Barbet (Psilopogon haemacephalus) arriving at a tree trunk with food for a chick inside a nest cavity. The adult clings beside the nest hole, leans inside, and passes food to the chick, which swallows it before the parent leaves and returns with another beakful. The adult's red forehead, yellow eyebrow and throat, and green streaked body are visible as it makes repeated feeding visits. Coppersmith Barbets excavate nest cavities in soft or dead wood, and both parents help feed the young with fruit and insects.
