Two Coppersmith Barbets are observed near a hollow nesting cavity in a tree. One barbet approaches the cavity and looks inside, while another emerges carrying food in its beak. The birds alternate between entering, leaving, and flying away from the nesting area during the feeding activity. One adult transfers food directly from its beak to the beak of another barbet before flying away.
