A Retriever dog is scared off by a pair of Lapwings, from near their nest. The dog is on her morning walk but takes heeds to the bird's warnings and stays away from their nest with eggs that are laid in a scrape in the ground. The Red wattled Lapwing (Vanellus indicus) is a lapwing or large plover, a wader in the family Charadriidae. It has characteristic loud alarm calls which are variously rendered as did he do it or pity to do it leading to colloquial names like the did-he-do-it bird. Usually seen in pairs or small groups not far from water but may form large flocks in the non-breeding season (winter) Lapwings are very very vigilant and noisy. all the time sounding high pitch noise of did-he-do-it calls.when bird see any dangerous activity for him.
