A Red-wattled Lapwing, a common Asian wader, is observed in its natural environment. It is easily identified by the bright red wattle in front of each eye, a red bill with a black tip, a black breast and throat, and a white streak along the sides of the neck. Known for its loud and alert calls, this bird often acts as a natural alarm, warning other wildlife of nearby threats. As a ground-nesting species, it lays eggs in open areas and is known for its remarkable resilience, enduring extreme heat while protecting its nest. The video captures its vigilance, behavior, and habitat.
