Forlorn looking bird with huge yellow eyes and a shy cute face! Stone Curlew protects its eggs in fierce summer sun The Stone Curlew nests at the Wilderness Orchard in Delhi. However, summer breeding season worries persist, as the Rhesus macaques and cats could get their eggs like they did last summer! The Curlews have become territorial and started to display breeding behaviour. They sit on the ground as if they are incubating their eggs, to judge and gauge the safety levels for breeding here this year.
