Looks like the Delhi heat is making these mynas restless. One of them is seen plucking a neem leaf from the tree. Picking on the neem tree leaf and trying to eat the green fruit. From preening itself o shifting to another branch and sitting on the branch. The myna is filmed with its beaks wide open. It is called heat dissipation and helps to bring down the inner body temperature in birds. Common Mynas are aggressive and widely distributed in the urban areas. They are found in large numbers and are highly adaptive to the surrounding environment which is a factor of the species thriving in human habitations.
