Riki Tiki Tawi comes avisiting! A pair of Indian Grey Mongoose or Herpestes edwardsii are seen outside their burrow at a park. They seem to be parent and juvenile eating something which cannot be identified in this clip. Sensing intrusion, they both skip back to the shaded area. They mostly venture out near their burrow and are always alert. Mongoose is known for its lethal predatory ability against snakes, even the King Cobra. A Five-striped Northern Palm Squirrel and a Common Myna are also seen roaming and foraging and the squirrel drinking water near a small waterhole. A limping Common Myna and the squirrel are having a standoff for food territory but looks like the squirrel is no match for the myna.
