Like a contra rebel, the Pied Myna is coloured, perhaps? See the erstwhile named Sturnus contra. A pair of Pied Myna or Asian Pied Starling (Gracupica contra) sits on the branches of an Acacia tree near their nests. Its breeding season in spring and the mynas have strayed away from the large flocks to breed. They are filmed preening amidst the bird calls. Pied Myna is a common bird in open forests and around human habitation since they feed on human trash and refuse. They are generally seen in large flocks except during the breeding season. This species of bird is also known to be very noisy and mimic a variety of calls.
