Mynas are supposed to nest in tree hollows and rock wall holes, but here is a rare exception where they have built a nest on a tree! A Common Myna sits on the branch of a Peepal tree near its nest. The bird is filmed preening its feathers. A bunch of white and pink Bougainvillea bloom next to the tree. Common Myna (Acridotheres tristis) are seen in huge flocks and are very noisy. It mimics bird sounds and is very common in residential areas and open forests and grasslands.
