A Common Myna (Acridotheres tristis) is observed carrying out a variety of natural behaviours in its habitat. The bird peeks from a tree hollow used as a nesting cavity before perching on a bare branch to preen its feathers. It later descends to the ground to forage, searching for food among the vegetation and soil. Tree cavities provide sheltered nesting sites for Common Mynas, offering protection for eggs and chicks from predators and adverse weather. The footage captures nesting, grooming, perching, and foraging behaviours of this adaptable bird species in a natural environment.
