Looks like these Common Mynas have are either hatching or they already have young ones inside this tree hollow. Their tree trunk residence has got a makeover of a wooden sunroof. The pair fuss over their nesting place. Acirodotheres tristis tristis is an adaptive bird that equally loves nesting in tree hollows as in building crevices. Common Mynas can be seen almost everywhere as they can adapt to urban and open forest environments. They are usually seen in large flocks except in breeding season and they mimic other bird calls as well.
