A Rose-ringed parakeet (Psittacula krameri) perched on a tree branch. The bird is seen actively moving its neck while scanning the surrounding area, a common alert behaviour in parakeets. In another glimpse, the parakeet shifts position and settles on a different branch within the tree canopy surrounded by dense branches and foliage. The species is identified by its green plumage, long tapered tail, and red curved bill. Rose-ringed parakeets are commonly found in parks, gardens, and urban woodland habitats across Delhi and other parts of India.
