Two Blue-throated Barbets (Psilopogon asiaticus) are observed at a nesting cavity in a tree in a natural setting in India. One bird is perched on lichen-covered bark near the entrance, while the other is positioned partially inside a small circular hollow. The species displays characteristic green plumage with a blue throat and red markings on the head. The birds are seen leaving the nest cavity and returning, indicating active foraging and feeding behaviour associated with nesting. One individual occasionally peers out from the cavity opening.
