The erstwhile so-named Grey headed or the newly-named Canary Flycather nests on a mossy tree trunk with a nest carved into a sagging crook of a crevice on the trunk, and made out of moss itself, at the wildfilmsindia bird sanctuary in the western Himalaya. After creating the neat and concealed nest, the mother sits on her eggs to incubate them, and once hatched, her ferries and sorties start, to bring back insect feed for the chicks, along with the male.
