Denzil Britto says "Here you can see a large block of sandstone which is somewhere around 636 million years old. Why we call it that old is because of these patterns which you see which has formed on it. We often wonder what caused these patterns to occur on the rock?" The volcanic rocks at Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park were formed somewhere between 745 and 680 million years ago.
