Wetland bird activity at Ranthambore National Park featuring a Eastern Great Egret (Ardea alba modesta) and a Little Cormorant (Microcarbo niger) searching for food in shallow water. This footage captures two common wetland bird species foraging within the marshes and water bodies of Ranthambore National Park. The large white bird with a long neck, black legs, and pointed yellow bill is the Eastern Great Egret, a widespread wading bird often found in lakes, wetlands, and riverbanks across India. Beside it, the smaller dark-coloured bird is a Little Cormorant, a diving waterbird frequently seen in freshwater wetlands and reservoirs. The shallow aquatic habitat provides feeding grounds for fish, amphibians, and aquatic insects, supporting diverse birdlife within the Ranthambore ecosystem.
