Filmed in Ranthambore, this sequence captures a flock of Great cormorants (Phalacrocorax carbo) perched on dry tree branches overlooking a calm water body. The birds sit closely together, using the elevated branches as a safe resting point while they scan the surface below for movement. Their dark plumage contrasts beautifully with the pale bark of the dried trees and the soft reflection of the water behind them. As the camera pans across the scene, some of the cormorants shift positions, stretch their wings, or adjust their footing, adding subtle motion to the peaceful landscape. The setting reflects the natural behaviour of these skilled fish-eaters as they rest between feeding sessions.
