A Black Kite is perched calmly on a thick tree branch while scanning its surroundings from side to side. The raptor displays a light brown head with a sharply hooked dark beak adapted for tearing prey and scavenging food. Dark brown feathers cover the wings and upper body, while the breast appears slightly lighter in colour. Black Kites are widespread birds of prey commonly found near forests, wetlands, agricultural areas, and urban environments across Asia. Their strong talons and keen eyesight help them locate food while perched at elevated vantage points. The footage captures the alert resting posture and plumage details of this common raptor species.
