The Indian pied myna (Gracupica contra), also known as the pied starling, is perched quietly on a slender tree branch against a clear blue sky. This striking bird is recognised by its black-and-white plumage, bright orange eye patch, and sharp orange bill, commonly seen across open landscapes and wetlands in South Asia.
