Two Indian Pied Mynas (Gracupica contra) foraging together on a grassy patch. The birds walk steadily across a mixture of green grass, dry yellowed blades, and fallen leaves, probing the ground with their sharp bills in search of insects and other small food items. Their striking black-and-white plumage, white cheeks, and contrasting underparts are clearly visible as they move through the vegetation. One bird prominently displays the species' characteristic orange-red bare skin around the eye and a yellow bill with a reddish base.
