A flock of Ruddy Shelduck, commonly known as the Brahminy Duck in India, is observed on the Mahanadi River. These waterfowl are typically found in pairs or small groups across rivers, lakes, and wetlands. The birds display orange-brown plumage with pale heads and contrasting darker flight feathers. They are seen resting and moving across the water surface in a riverine habitat. The wide river channel provides suitable conditions for feeding and roosting. The footage captures group presence and typical habitat use of the species.
