A flock of Ruddy Shelduck, commonly known in India as the Brahminy Duck, is observed on the Mahanadi River. These waterfowl are often found in pairs or small groups along rivers, lakes, and wetlands. The birds display characteristic orange-brown plumage with pale heads and dark flight feathers. They are seen resting and moving across the water surface in a riverine environment. The wide river channel provides habitat for feeding and roosting. The footage captures group behaviour and distribution of the species along the river.
