A female sunbird is seen nestled inside an intricately woven, hanging pouch-shaped nest suspended from thin branches. The small bird sits at the entrance of the nest, repeatedly opening and closing its slender, slightly down-curved beak while looking outward. The nest is made from natural materials such as dried grass, plant fibres, strips of bark and small pieces of leaves, carefully woven together to form a compact purse-like structure. Soft green foliage fills the blurred background, creating a natural setting around the nest.
