This intimate footage captures the fascinating nesting behavior of the Garden Sunbird (Cinnyris jugularis) as it carefully tends to its intricately woven hanging nest. The bird is seen peeking out from the nest entrance, momentarily resting on the outer edge while inspecting and adjusting the structure. With remarkable precision, the sunbird uses its slender beak to stitch and secure fine plant fibers, strengthening the entrance and outer walls of the nest. After completing a brief round of maintenance, the bird slips back inside, leaving only the tip of its beak visible as it pauses and observes the surroundings from within.
