A Brown-headed Barbet (Psilopogon zeylanicus) perched on a tree trunk near a natural cavity. The bird repeatedly flies to the hollow, perches at the entrance, and then departs before returning again. During the sequence, the barbet enters the cavity, later reappears by extending its head out of the opening, and flies away. It subsequently returns to the hollow and is observed carrying food in its bill before departing once more. Such behaviour is commonly associated with nesting, cavity inspection, or feeding activities.
