A Himalayan Bulbul (Pycnonotus leucogenys), also known as the White-cheeked Bulbul, perched on a thorny deciduous branch. The bird remains alert, frequently turning its head to scan the surrounding woodland. Its black crest, distinctive white cheek patch, dark head, and yellow vent are clearly visible in close-up. The sequence highlights the species' typical perching and vigilance behaviour within its natural Himalayan habitat.
