Two Black Bulbul (Hypsipetes leucocephalus) are perched quietly on the bare branches of a mountain tree against a softly blurred Himalayan backdrop. Their elegant slate-grey plumage contrasts with their distinctive black crests, vivid coral-red beaks, and matching reddish legs. Resting alertly among the twisting branches, the birds appear attentive to their surroundings while maintaining balance high above the forest floor. Commonly found across Himalayan woodlands and montane forests, Black Bulbuls are highly social songbirds often observed moving in pairs or noisy flocks while foraging for fruits, nectar, and insects.
