A Brown-headed Barbet (Psilopogon zeylanicus) is seen occupying a natural cavity in the trunk of a mature tree. The bird repeatedly peers out through the rounded opening, moving its head and looking in different directions while remaining inside the hollow. Its brownish head, prominent orange-yellow bare skin around the eye, and broad reddish-pink bill are clearly visible. The rough, deeply textured tree bark surrounds the cavity, while green foliage and branches form the background. The footage provides a close view of the barbet using a natural tree hollow, likely as a nesting or roosting site, in an orchard or wooded habitat.
