The Wilderness Orchard and botanical garden in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, protects this population of Black Bulbuls that feed on seasonal fruit in our forest and orchard. In November 2017, they were busy eating the Kaitha or wild pear fruit on our grounds... Lovely audio from the mountains in early winter! The black bulbul, also known as the Himalayan black bulbul or Asian black bulbul, is a member of the bulbul family of passerine birds. It is found in southern Asia from India east to southern China.
