A Himalayan Black Bulbul (Hypsipetes leucocephalus) perched on a moss-covered tree branch in a forest habitat near Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, India. The bird is identifiable by its slate-grey plumage, prominent black crest, and distinctive red bill and legs. While perched, the bulbul actively scans its surroundings, looking up, down, and around the forest canopy in an alert and inquisitive manner. The footage highlights its natural vigilance and perch behavior within a woodland environment. After a brief period of observation, the bird takes flight and disappears into the surrounding forest. The video documents the behavior of a native Himalayan songbird in its natural habitat.
