Greater Yellownape (Chrysophlegma flavinucha) clings to a moss-covered tree trunk and searches for insects. The woodpecker has an olive-green body, a brown face, and a bright yellow crest at the back of its head. It probes the bark with its long, pale bill, working along the trunk and into its crevices. Green leaves frame the scene on all sides. The video gives a close look at how this forest woodpecker forages for food.
