A Himalayan Woodpecker (Dendrocopos himalayensis) is seen on a moss-covered tree trunk in its natural habitat. The bird uses its strong beak to repeatedly carve and peck into the tree bark while searching for insects and worms. Its black-and-white plumage, buff-white underparts, and red vent are visible as it forages along the trunk. The footage highlights the woodpecker's characteristic bark-foraging behaviour.
