A common myna (Acridotheres tristis), also known as the Indian myna, is seen inside a natural cavity in the trunk of a large tree. The bird repeatedly appears at the opening of the cavity while surrounded by dense green foliage. Another cavity is visible in the adjacent tree trunk. Close views show the myna's brown body, dark head, yellow bill, and yellow eye patch as it moves within the tree cavity. The bird is using the tree cavity as a nesting site.
