Two Jungle Babbler perched closely together on a sturdy branch within the lush greenery of the Wilderness Orchard. Known for their highly social nature and strong group bonds, these birds are observed engaging in allopreening, a cooperative grooming behaviour commonly seen among closely associated individuals. One babbler gently uses its beak to clean and arrange the feathers around the head and neck of its companion, an area difficult for a bird to groom on its own. The close interaction highlights the importance of social cooperation in Jungle Babbler communities. Often referred to as the "Seven Sisters" because of their tendency to move and forage in groups, these birds rely on strong social relationships for protection, communication, and survival.
