A flock of Jungle Babblers or Turdoides striata is seen on the bamboo fence outside the Wilderness Orchard in New Delhi. This flock looks to be more than 10 individuals 'Babbling' away. Sat bhai or Seven sistes. In Hindu, they are called Seven brothers and in English, they are the Seven Sisters, for their chattering noisy ways! Jungle Babblers are social birds and seen in groups of four or five and more. They indulge in mock fights among themselves and allopreening.
