A Jungle Babbler sits like a king while its partner preens its feathers. The partner goes in for thorough preening in the back and neck of the other one. No mock fights, no calls, just two of them away from everyone. This behaviour is common in Jungle Babblers which are usually seen in groups of more than four birds. They are noisy and found calling in flocks. Notice the 'eyebrows' which are darker than the pale eyes and make them look like the cartoon character 'Angry Bird'.
