A Black Kite (Milvus migrans) is perched on a thick, textured tree branch in a vegetated setting. The bird shows dark brown plumage and a slightly forked tail, typical of this widespread raptor species. Surrounding the perch are lush green leaves, including heart-shaped foliage from climbing vines. A darker and thicker tree trunk is visible behind the bird, forming a layered natural background. The kite remains stationary, scanning its surroundings from the elevated position. This scene reflects the common perching behaviour of a raptor in a semi-urban or forested habitat in India.
