Triggering our camera traps, this Goral or wild Himalayan Mountain Goat cautiously forages for leaves and dry grass, ever watchful for the presence of a leopard! Small mice and other rodents gambol around in the forest at night. A range of forest animals seem to like our clearings in the forest around the wildfilmsindia sanctuary in Uttarakhand. From Kaleej Pheasant and mice, to Goral or Wild Mountain Goats, langurs and Barking Deer! A pair of Goral stand around and chew their cud and also lick themselves in the warm winter sunshine. One Goral does a little goat like pirouette as it gambols in the grass, while a crew of White-throated Laughing Thrushes enjoys turning over the grass on this ridge...
