Foraging without a care in the world, this Himalayan Mountain goat feels confident in the protection that wildfilmsindia provides it at our private wildlife sanctuary in Uttarakhand. It forages for roots and shoots, leaves and herbs among the dry oak leaves below a patch of Himalayan Oak forest at our Jabbarkhet estate. Along comes a Muntjac of Barking Deer / Kakar male, munching away happily and chewing cud, again with no worries in the world. This horned Mountain Goat or Goral walks up confidently to our camera trap and inquisitively checks it out, looks around and displays his face and white ruff or throat patch prominently. The Goral at the Wilderness Estate and Orchard at Jabbarkhet and Motidhar are offered preferential treatment and complete security from poachers, and we even look t
