As the mists rise and fall, this wild mountain goat flicks off bugs and looks around for danger, but overall feels secure in the protection accorded to it by wildfilmsindia at our wildlife sanctuary in Uttarakhand. Neither deathly steep cliffs nor wet slippery grasses deter the wild Mountain Goat of the Himalaya - the Goral. In fact, it is most at home in such terrain! Finally, some fresh crunchy oak leaves in summer-time after the hot period and forest fires that deprived the resident species of proper fodder... At the wildfilmsindia wildlife sanctuary at Jabbarkhet, Mussoorie, a pair of Goral or wild mountain goats stare out across a rocky cliff-top, at possible leopard movement in the Oak forest above.
