A Goral or wild Mountain Goat stands below an Oak tree, alter and watchful but also bemused at the wildfilmsindia cameraperson filming it at the Wilderness Orchard sanctuary in Uttarakhand. He flicks his ears to chase off flies. A Goral has slim pickings in the form of dry and brown shrubby leaves and grasses as everything is in winter mode. The Goral tugs at the leaves and tries to get some winter nutrition out of the modest offerings on the menu. Is this Goral mama prancing around with her kids as they walk past our camera trap on a sunny Himalayan ridge? Or has she been bothered by an insect? As the mists rise and fall, this wild mountain goat flicks off bugs and looks around for danger, but overall feels secure in the protection accorded to it by wildfilmsindia at our wildlife sanctuar
