An Indian Peafowl female, commonly known as a peahen, roams through the landscape in search of food. Unlike the brilliantly colored male peacock, the peahen wears a subtle cloak of earthy brown feathers that blends beautifully with her surroundings. As she walks calmly across the ground, she carefully scans the terrain, pecking at seeds, insects, and other natural food sources hidden among the vegetation.
