A Coromandel Marsh Dart (Ceriagrion coromandelianum), also known as the Yellow Waxtail, resting on a leaf. The close-up reveals its citron-yellow abdomen, greenish-yellow thorax, prominent compound eyes, and slender body. Its transparent, veined wings are folded along the body in a typical resting posture for damselflies. This species is commonly found around ponds, wetlands, and grassy marshes across South Asia, where it feeds on small insects. The footage highlights the damselfly’s distinctive colours and fine anatomical details.
